#ZumaMustFall
The reason behind the hashtag is because President Jacob Zuma fired the Minister of Finance (Nhlanhla Nene) which caused the South African Rand to fall/weaken, so many South African citizens including Members of Parliament decided to create a campaign a #ZumaMustFall.
ZumaMustFall
Both Members of Parliament and public should understand that zuma might not have made a mistake by firing Nene, it’s possible that Jacob Zuma might have had valid reasons why he decided to do so.
ZumaMustFall
The people should talk to Zuma instead of asking or creating the campaign which wants Zuma to step down or they should wait for him to finish his term and not appoint him anymore.
Zuma should at least consult the rest of the Members of Parliament before taking any decisions, because the decision which he made alone too led to citizens turning against him and the rand being weakened.
The people should not only blame Zuma alone but his advisers as well, because they should have told him that his decision might lead to hatred and confusion.
ZumaMustFALL
I know that asking Zuma to step down to step down will make people to me confident in the government which is governing and our rand will strengthen, because the government won’t focus on getting material things and building fancy houses, using the state money, but will use the money to develop the country and put more money into education so that South Africa can be more educated. The government should look at what will benefit the country as a whole not just the Zuma. A good leader will not buy assets worth billions when there is shortage in educational funds./twitter/zumamustfall

zuma must fall indeed, things that are happening ever since he took office are very disgusting.
ReplyDeletebut it is possible that he saw a valid reason for taking the act of firing Nhlanla Nene
DeleteZuma should fee our country representation is bad and he is leading it in a bad way
ReplyDeleteThat is true , but they should at least wait for his term to end.
DeleteReally the image of our country has been tarnished.Social media pages are full of meme's that depict the President in a negative light and there is nothing we can do about it.
ReplyDeleteJa , the Parliament and the citizens should just wait for his term to end then appoint someone , who they will have confidence in.

ReplyDeleteIf the president can't or won't step down now, then atleast we need to come up with a solution ASAP to improve the state of our economy because there's so much instability right now because of the decisions the president has been making lately. But then again if he steps down now, it might also create more uncertainty and instability, thus causing foreign investors to pull out of SA.
ReplyDeleteAll the president needs to do in the future is to consult other members before making the final decisions

DeleteI think all presidents have similar characteristics, remember we as South African we requested that Mbike should step down, and he did step down and now we want Zuma to step down,,,,,,,,,, All presidents are the same
ReplyDeleteI agree with you on that one.

ReplyDeleteI agree, people should wait for him to finish his term.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the Blogger, if we remove Zuma our citizens will always have a tradition of removing leaders as they wish with the influence of opposite political parties... Zuma's relationship with the Guptas seems to be a bad influence on his leadership as they are seems to be the one's leading the country and financially providing Zuma

ReplyDeleteZuma must fall. He isn't doing much for the nation really
ReplyDeleteIf President Zuma falls the whole cabinet should also fall with him because they are all contributing to the corruption in this country.
